Computerized TMJ Analysis
We've invested in Bio-JVA technology to assess temporomandibular joint (TMJ) function. JVA stands for Joint Vibration Analysis. This high-tech, non-invasive system quickly and accurately evaluates the motion of TMJ joints. When joint surfaces rub together, friction occurs. This friction causes vibration. Joints that operate smoothly cause little vibration. Conversely, a high vibration reading indicates compromised joint function. Bio-JVA lets Dr. Cranham determine current TMJ function and customize a treatment plan to restore optimal joint motion and oral health.
